Spice Blended Vinaigrettes

1 Tablespoon Spice Blend: Lavender, Hibiscus, Saffron-Rose
1 cup oil
4 tablespoons lemon juice
4 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard—smooth or grainy
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon honey
Salt and pepper to taste
- Add all ingredients to a jar and shake to mix well. Allow about one hour at room temperature or in the fridge for flavors to meld. Refrigerate after use.
Variations: Use your choice of oils and vinegars—this recipe is forgiving and works with most anything you have on hand. Want a creamy version? Add 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise or plain yogurt and mix extra well.
